The Decadent Review is seeking spectacularly written texts of any length on the subject of Dmitri Shostakovich and his music.

We're looking for:


Criticism (cultural, literary).
Reviews (recordings, books, poetry, art).
Essays (aesthetics, linguistics, meta, history).
Musical ekphrasis of compositions (poetic, euphonious, discordant).

• No query letters, just the text or a draft.   
• Do not include cover letters or forward material in the submission.
• Do not include biographical information in the submission.
